Venue
12th-13th October: Bundeskunsthalle
Helmut-Kohl-Allee 4, 53113 Bonn, Germany
The Bundeskunsthalle is a unique venue devoted to art, culture, and science on Bonn’s "Museum Mile" near the Banks of the Rhine.
A landmark of Bonn, the museum’s foundation stone was laid in 1989, just as Germany, and Bonn’s political future was changing shape. It’s been a site for cultural and scientific exchange ever since.
The Museum’s theme for 2026 is ‘What We Have In Common', placing social responsibility at the heart of its programming and exploring how art, education, cultural exchange, and societal dialogue can contribute to a mutually beneficial society.

Travel Bursary
Travel Bursary applications close on 31 July.
We offer a travel bursary for participants who would otherwise not be able to attend the gathering. Our budget is limited; please consider your eligibility before applying.
Eligibility: Priority for bursaries will be given to people working to redesign our economies who experience inequity and are underrepresented at new economy events. This includes: people aged 18-25, people of the Global Majority, people who are unemployed or have low-waged work, disabled people and people who identify as LGBTQIA+. We cannot provide support for anyone working for a Funder, Government body, those based in/near Bonn, or people representing an organisation with an annual turnover of 750,000 euros or more.
Depending on demand, not everyone who applies for a bursary may be successful. We will prioritise people who have not received a bursary in previous years. We will be in touch by the end of June with a decision for those who apply before that.
If you meet the criteria you can take 5 minutes to apply for a travel bursary. New Economy Leadership Academy participants and alumni can also use this form to request support to cover travel costs.

Environmental impact
We have carefully considered the benefits of hosting an in-person gathering - particularly as we know travel is a main driver of P4NE’s operational emission footprint. In line with our policy, we are confident that these events will make a significant contribution to the development of the new economy field and to P4NE’s mission. Wherever possible we encourage you to prioritise the environment in your travel choices.
Online attendance
We will record the sessions in the auditorium, and they will be published on our Vimeo channel after the event for those who can’t attend in person. There is no need to register to view the online recordings.
Guiding principles
The principles guide how we show up together and create a space for connection, learning, and inspiration:
Connect and participate. Make the most of our time together - listen to others, introduce people to each other, and bring your ideas and questions. Challenge yourself to take more space if you do not usually, and be mindful to leave room for other voices if you often talk.
Find the openings for change. Encourage yourself and others to move beyond critique, turning conversations toward the openings for change that are emerging, and how to develop and act on them together
Stay curious and open to difference. Join sessions or conversations that are less familiar to you, connect with people and ideas you might not usually come across.
Hold your ideas and assumptions lightly. Bring awareness of your own patterns, assumptions, and learnt behaviours. We don’t know everything, and we are not right all of the time - together we know a lot.
Take care of yourself. We all learn and think differently - engage with the bits that work for you while giving space for others to do the same.
Avoid jargon, acronyms, and industry language. Use language that is accessible to people with varying levels of insider knowledge and first languages that might differ from yours.
Honour confidentiality. Take the learnings with you, leaving names/specifics out where appropriate.
Anti-harassment policy
Should anyone experience inappropriate behaviour or harassment, our process is as follows:
Staff are the most visible first line of support for those who experience inappropriate behaviour. Participants can approach P4NE staff members to report experiencing or witnessing any such behaviours. Staff will note down the details of what has happened, make sure the Event Producer (Rachael Burton) is informed, and stay with the person who needs support if needed.
If a participant engages in harassing or inappropriate behaviour, the production team may take action they deem appropriate to the situation, including warning the person, or expelling them from the event with immediate effect. Event staff may, if necessary, contact venue security or local law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing inappropriate behaviour.
After the event, any reported incidents of inappropriate behaviour will be reported to and reviewed by the P4NE Director and team. Details of incidents that were resolved satisfactorily, did not recur, or were minor will be discarded. Details of repeat or serious transgressions may be retained by P4NE for as long as deemed relevant.
